Hardanger Fjord Lodge

Hardanger Fjord Lodge

Hardanger Fjord Lodge is permeated by the goal of giving back more to nature than it takes. Since the beginning of 2023, the hotel has been a proud Down to Earth carbon remover.

Hardanger Fjord Lodge, formerly known as Hotel Sundal, is a quaint place by the fjord, with crooked floors, local ingredients, and beds made of natural materials.

In 2018, Caroline and Harald quit their jobs and moved from the city to start a quieter life in the countryside. Together with their dog Frøya, they own and operate the hotel, which has the Folgefonna National Park as its closest neighbor.

They have a purpose in everything they do, and their love for nature is evident. With that comes their commitment to the climate and focus on a low carbon footprint. Carbon storage is a natural part of this work!
