Stefanus Alliance works for religious freedom and to support persecuted religious minorities worldwide. Many of the most vulnerable people in the world live in countries heavily impacted by climate change, something that Stefanus' staff and partners experience daily
To carry out their work, the organization relies on a significant amount of travel. They are actively working to reduce emissions as much as possible, but this is a challenging endeavor. They aim to handle the carbon they emit responsibly and have, therefore, partnered with Down to Earth.
The carbon removed by Stefanus Alliance is stabilized by our partner, PyroNam, in Namibia and stored on the savanna. There, it contributes to soil improvement and climate adaptation of a vulnerable ecosystem.
