The carbon is stored in agricultural soil, which is beneficial for soil improvement and climate adaptation.

Karbonfjerning er et internasjonalt begrep for å ta CO2 ut av kretsløpet og atmosfæren. Karbonfjernere i Norsk Karbonlagrings nettverk er bedrifter som på månedlig basis betaler for at dette skjer. Karbonet lagres i landbruksjord hvor det kommer til nytte som jordforbedring og klimatilpasning.
