Many farmers see biochar as a valuable soil amendment for long term increase of soil quality and soil health. Although, investment in biochar at scale is by now to expensive for the everyday farmer. 

This is changed by Down to Earth. Co-financed with the customers of Down to Earth, who claim the climate effect of the carbon storage, getting the soil improvement from biochar is made possible for a great specter of farmers - which increase the volumes of biochar applied to soil.

More carbon storage in agricultural soil is a solid win-win: Less carbon in the atmosphere and more carbon in soil for climate adaptation and more robust soil health. 

The customer of Down to Earth will of course get the same climate certificate, with the fully documented carbon story and third party verified carbon removal credits from internationally recognized carbon removal registries. 

Mange bønder ser på biokull som en verdifull jordforbedring for klimatilpasning og langsiktig økning av jordkvalitet og jordhelse. Imidlertid er investering i biokull i stor skala for dyrt for den vanlige bonden.

Dette endres av Down to Earth. Samfinansiert med kundene til Down to Earth, som eier klimaeffekten av karbonlagringen, blir jordforbedring fra biokull mulig for et bredt spekter av bønder - noe som øker volumene av biokull som tilføres jorden.

Mer karbonlagring i landbruksbruksjord er en solid vinn-vinn: Mindre karbon i atmosfæren og mer karbon i jorden for klimatilpasning, mer robust jordhelse og dermed økt matsikkerhet.

Kundene til Down to Earth vil selvfølgelig få samme klimåsertifikat, med den fullt dokumenterte karbonhistorien og tredjepartsverifiserte karbonfjerningskreditter fra internasjonalt anerkjente karbonfjerningsregistre.
