Jønsberg VGS
Carbon StorageJønsberg is Norway's oldest agricultural high school and has since 1847 been training the food producers of the future. The Jønsberg school is located in beautiful surroundings in the Stange municipality and has around 230 students. The school manages its own farm, where most of the animal husbandry and plant production is organic.
Jønsberg is now able to use and enjoy biochar in their soil thanks to Ecohz, who have removed carbon as a climate measure.
Not only is the biochar stored in the schools' soil, but it will also give the next generation of farmers the opportunity to learn directly about the effects of biochar and carbon in the soil.
