Our Carbon Storers
At Tangen Søndre, a farm from the 18th century, they have been raising Scottish Highland cattle since 2021. The cows are outdoors year-round, and the operation is without supplementary feed. Starting from 2024, biochar from carbon removal is part of the resources employed.
In the kitchen garden at Stokkøya Strandhotell, guests can leave a handprint. The carbon stored to reduce the hotel's footprint ends up here, among other places!"
At Nordre Gren by Krøderfjorden, organic ancient grain is produced and sold through Sigdal Mølle.

The Jønsberg school is located in beautiful surroundings in the Stange municipality and has around 230 students. The school manages its own farm, where most of the animal husbandry and plant production is organic.
